Biological Scenario -
Season 4 - The Quest For Syrum 10.23.2010
The Plot
In the year 2035, a nuclear war destroyed over 75% of the inhabitable land on earth. The land around the Mississippi river is the only livable area in the world. After the war, the world’s people were relieved that conflict was over. That was, of course, until the sickness started. Authorities were alerted and doctors worked relentlessly to produce a cure; but people were becoming infected daily. The painful infection worsened constantly slowly making the earth’s population into mindless zombies. No Relief seemed possible until Medicine X was discovered. X was quickly put into circulation. The serum kept the infection from maturing farther and seemed to stop infection in people who had not yet contracted it.
There seems, however, to be no cure for those who have already been affected; and the pill must be taken daily. Shortages cause wars between factions as everyone is trying to stay medicated. Factions and individuals fight for control of stockpiles, distribution, and even manufacture of this life serum.
X is the new world’s diamond. Blood feuds for control are caused by or because of this medicine. Some fight for freedom but the battle over this serum may thrust us back into dictatorships and life as it was in the dark ages. The world needs help. Pick a side or deal with the consequences. You must choose a side. Which one will it be? Will you be able to complete the Quest for Serum?
The Game
Season 3 saw lots of feuding and a good bit of wheeling and dealing going on behind the scenes. The Legion worked closely with The Shadow and now the two have made an alliance. No one really knows exactly what this means other than the fact that The Shadow wants only to control and commercialize the syrum industry and that since the alliance little has been seen of The Shadow while The Legion has been quite happy to do their dirty work.
The Militia continue to fight to keep the Syrum from becoming a product of commercialization. Their quest seems noble yet often futile in these trying times. Their numbers are often low as The Legion has an uncanny ability to buy loyalty. The Tainted continue to hate all but in recent history have found themselves working for the highest bidder. No one truly understands the reason for this about face but they have shown in the past they are smarter than many believed possible; so it is sure that they are up to something.
So pick a side, grab you gear and lose the fear!!! In this harsh world there is no room for backseat drivers. Pick your future or it will be determined for you.
Come on out for the yearly scenario from Paintball Kingdom!
